Inside Sales Representative 

Position: Inside Sales Representative

Activities: Responsible for inbound and outbound sales calls

  • Receive inbound sales calls from potential new customers and close over the phone, if possible. If not, set appointment for a member of the sales team.
  • Make outbound sales prospecting calls for potential new customers. Qualify leads and set appointments for sales team. Follow up with salesperson after appointment and re-engage lead, if necessary.
  • Maintain and build existing prospect lists. Update contact information, delete duplicates, etc.
  • Maintain SalesForce (CRM tool) database for lead follow-up, appointment setting, pipeline management, sales forecasting, and lost opportunity tracking. Keep accurate, comprehensive, and up-to-date notes in the system.
  • Effectively communicate and work with other team members in other departments as needed, including marketing, billing, etc.
  • Attend weekly sales meetings and provide accurate sales activity reports.
  • Provide inside sales team support as needed and maintain ongoing communication to keep current on all company products/services.
  • Participate in training opportunities as appropriate for continuous improvement.
  • Perform other miscellaneous related duties as requested.

Experience/Qualifications: Minimum of 1-3 years sales experience; preferably in business-to-business sales.

  • Proven record of success
  • Self-starter with strong problem-solving skills and a thick skin
  • Communication (written and verbal), organizational, and computer skills
  • CRM experience a plus
