Tennessee Health Care Association Convention

THCA (2)TriHaz Solutions recently attended the 2021 THCA/TNCAL Convention & Trade Show in Nashville, Tennessee. Long-term care and assisted living professionals from across the state gathered for three days of education, networking, entertainment, and awards recognition. The trade show featured 140 booths and as a participant, TriHaz was glad to meet new customers in person and to introduce our company to many other nursing home and assisted living executives. We were able to highlight our services and products, and share customer success stories – like that of the nursing home who came to us for help with planning for  high volumes of waste as the Covid-19 pandemic unfolded.

Julie Threet, Programs Manager at THCA said, “Despite the smaller number of attendees this year due to coronavirus, the positive energy at Convention was enormous! It was obvious that THCA/TNCAL members and exhibitors were happy and grateful to finally be able to gather once again as an industry to network and reconnect in person. THCA/TNCAL members have dedicated their time, energy, and care to their residents throughout the pandemic, so it was a privilege to provide a space where they could be appreciated, inspired, supported, and honored. We are already looking forward to a bigger and better event in 2022 at the Knoxville Convention Center, August 10-12.”

Kyle Kelly, TriHaz Senior Account & Operations Manager and Account Manager Eddie Sanders attended the show and were impressed with THCA members’ resilience and determination in the wake of the coronavirus pandemic. “It’s business as usual for these folks; they are so dedicated to their profession,” said Sanders. “Medical waste management has been an area of focus for them, with the increases they saw in waste volumes over last winter. They need a waste services provider that is both flexible and dependable.” According to Kelly, “We talked to several facilities who were interested in our bundled services option that includes secure document destruction, because it means just one visit and one invoice. Reducing risk is top-of-mind as the Delta variant continues to spread.”

TriHaz appreciates the opportunity to support THCA/TNCAL in their educational and professional development efforts and congratulates the 2021 THCA/TNCAL Awards of Excellence winners and the district Caregivers of the Year. We are ready to support the unique challenges of nursing homes and assisted living facilities in Tennessee as they continue to navigate uncertain times in the health care industry.
